I’m Kobay from Fullpota.
When autumn comes, there are various kinds of grapes lined up. Is there any fruit that looks so delicious? They say “don’t judge a book by its cover”, but grapes are the opposite of people. They are just as they look. Like carbonated drinks, even if there are no grapes in them, they create the qualia of grapes in our brains. According to one theory, they have been cultivated since 8,000 BC.
But when you buy some delicious-looking grapes at the supermarket and try them… “Don’t the seeds get in the way? Don’t the skins get in the way? This is not the “grape” that we think of in our heads. Well, it is a grape, but the seeds and skins interfere with our thinking and we can’t enjoy it!” Don’t you ever feel that way? It’s like eating cheese-flavored snacks and thinking “That rich cheese flavor, I can imagine that rich and fragrant taste in my head! But no matter how rich cheese-flavored snacks I eat, or even cheese itself, I can’t reach “that taste !” You know what I mean (no?) Of course, we know about Shine Muscat, a seedless grape that can be eaten with the skin. But it’s not something you can eat casually because it’s expensive. That’s why we didn’t have many opportunities to eat grapes at home.
